  • Dear Sir,

How can you show all dimension at 0:29. Are you using short-key?

I have build a 3D model and want to print a dimension document for the factory.

    Thanks,

    Leo

For the purposes of this demo video, pulled all the dimensions manually and then put them on a separate layer. The instant display of all the dimensions you saw at 0:29 was when I went off screen and turned on the layer containing all the dimensions.

This video is quite old. Be cause you will want to set up your sheet page first and then dimension, you best course would be to use LayOut.

  • Thank you your tips really helpful !!!

  • know how to put dimension and radios but i don"t know how to put angle, i just measure in protractor and i used the text tool and put the right degree,,can you show me another way to out right degree?

  • Thanks for your reply!

Is that mean the sketchup and layout do not have the auto function to show all the dimensions. then I need to dimension each line manually.

If the model was very complex, then I also need to dimension it one by one?

    Thanks,

    Leo

  • thanks your lesson
