This guy is a joke! Sounds like a racist and biggot...oh BTW let the kids have fun as long as you are white and have the right genetics. The people who hired this guy should be very concerned.
He makes jokes at the expense of kids in orphanages and short kids...don't play hockey...and BTW just have fun.

BG1034 raises a good point below. My son has been doing a program that has in a way failed him because the coach didn't recognize what works for him. I ultimately had to work with him on certain skills and teaching him about the sport in the way that HE would understand.
It was great for me because I got to spend quality time with him, but it illustrates how sometimes the best intentions can sometimes fall short.
By the speaker does raise valid points that should be kept in mind as well.

HOGWASH!!! I have coached for years and learned that no one philosophy works for ALL kids. The key is to find a way to reach each kid at his or her level. Some kids really only want 2 win...others couldn't care less. Don't force all of them 2 adopt the way you think is right. Youth skill development = GREAT IDEA. Otherwise lay off the parents. I have had parents criticize me because I DON'T yell enough. Stop letting Oprah and Rosie run the world. Do what works for each kid...as an individual
