ZHANG:
Also in India, a tragic stampede has claimed the lives of more than 90 pilgrims and left hundreds of others injured.
STORY:
The incident happened at the Chamunda temple near the historic town of Jodhpur.
Witnesses say a stampede started when pilgrims were stopped to make way for a VIP. But the police say the stampede was caused by a barricade breaking near the temple which sits on top of a hill.
This caused people to start running down a steep slope falling over each other. Most of the injured and dead are young men who were lined up together.
Only last month a similar stampede outside a temple in northern India killed at least 145 people.
Rumors of a landslide triggered panic among worshipers who then ran down a narrow mountain trail only to meet thousands of people walking up.
Authorities have ordered an investigation into that disaster.
