@fastball484 Why diss how other people enjoy their time with their family? Not everybody hikes out to sleep in the wilderness. I use this out of the back of my car at tailgates too.

@RoscoeBa - you're very right ! I'm from Canada and I found the loud gun shouts in the background a bit strange :)
Thanks for the review btw. I liked how you took your time with the other JetBoil video to properly explain how it worked and how it runs.

You're taking eco-friendliness to the extreme. Just leave the coffee grinds out there next time. Some squirrel will thank you!

@rbahng Yah, camp/cowboy coffee has to be strong to be credible! ;) No, I just live where folks are allowed to use firearms on their own property whenever they want. We mostly only hear it on the weekends. We choose to not shoot on our property but go the range instead.

Great review, I can almost smell the java. One note, you may be using the press screen upside down. I read on the jb site "Make sure the strainer basket is screwed on to the stem with the flat/ non-concave side is facing up." I've been using it the way you show but a lot of grounds sneak past (Folgers ground), I'm eager to try it the other way. I think the screw being on the flat side throws people off. Anyway, not hating just suggesting. =)

@nd2roam oh. my. gosh!! Yes, I have the screen on upside down!! I hiked with my mother-in-law recently and tried to impress her with some press coffee in the field and it was a grindy grounds disaster. She was nice about it but I couldn't figure what I did wrong. I never noticed the screen position was integral to the success of the coffee. Argh. Thx for letting me know! :)

This is another fine example of technology gone too far. Just use my old trusty percolator pot. Doesn't need any special canister of fossil fuels and can hold my cup and coffee and spoon for stirrin in the sweet stuff like huckleberries.

@ManshedTV Another fine example of fine technology. Building a fire in the parking lot of a soccer or football tailgate is not always feasible nor desirable nor wanted. Nor was a fire feasible when I fired it up in the parking lot of a motel I stayed in last week. I'm not drinking their crappy coffee. I pulled out my JetBoil and poured my french pressed Italian Roast 5 minutes after I unlocked the car. I get where you're coming from and I'm happy for your huckleberries and all..
