Sketches of trains

These are various sketches of trains that I've done in preparation for painting them. First, from memory, there is a diesel on the Saddleworth loop at Greenfield with a Mossley/Stalybridge bound freight (the engine has coupled back up to the mineral wagons after being recovered from a de-railment at Friezland. Does anyone remember this incident happening I wonder?) Next, from a photograph I took back in the 80s, a Yorkshire bound 46229 takes on water at Stalybridge. Then 60009 heads for Yorkshire on the Tall Ships through Stalybridge, again from a photograph that I recently took. This is followed by an impression of two Royal Scots doing battle through the tunnels with Manchester bound trains at Stalybridge. Finally, with thanks to ConwyCastle for his permission to sketch from his video, an LYR express travels under Oldham Road bridge at Springhead, Saddleworth, with a Lees and Oldham bound train.
