LONG BUT WORTH WATCHING FOR THE COMMENTARY ALONE!

Many thanks to Johnny Davies, Barry Paul and Graham Paul for being great sports and setting up a bit of light entertainment for the volunteers (AKA flamingoes) on the last day of the European SENIOR Fencing Championships, with the help of the film crew, the commentators, referee Mike Thornton (I believe), interview to Piers Martin, Rochelle and everybody else (feel free to send me the names of people I missed out).

Not so keen on all the digs at the Italians during the commentary though ;-) we did alright didn't we? What's a push or a shove more?

The only shame is that I missed out recording the beginning of it, as I was religiously holding the camcorder on pause. Do'h! Also apologies for the shakey video but I did not have my tripod with me. And please note the spotlight position at the beginning of the clip. LOL!

Best laugh I had all week! Hope you enjoy it too! Now I don't want to see another camera or camcorder for the next 6 months! (OK I'll make an exception for Elite Epee!)

  • could someone explain?? I don't know what's going on here and who are the people?

  • @jjollmeunnoodles it's explained in the video summary (you need to expand it). Johnny Davies competed with the GB Fencing team at the 1988 and 1992 Olympic Games, 5 World Championships, 5 Commonwealth Championships and amassing 120 international caps.

Barry and Graham Paul are brothers and I am sure you know the product they sell (as in THE Leon Paul brand). Graham recently competed at the Veterans World Championships and won gold in MF

  • i love how UN-Seriously they're taking this

  • @safirewolf93 LOL yes, it was done as light relief for the volunteers straight after the last final, it was meant to be a comical show and they certainly succeeded in that ;-)

  • What... What is this?

  • @FencingChicago LOL some light relief for the volunteers, it's all explained in the video comment and also in another reply I gave. All in good fun!
