Tempted S1 E17

(Joe's POV)
"Oh Demi..." I held her close and looked into her eyes, "How do you know?"
"I went over to his place early and h-he was having s-sex with some g-girl. And wh-when I caught him he tr-tried blaming it on me b-because I wouldn't give him what he wanted h-he had to get it from someone else. A-and when I y-yelled at him for it h-he slapped me so I just left and ran b-back home." I caught a fallen tear with my thumb, trying to hold the anger that was boiling up inside of me.
"Where does he live?" I asked.
"Joe..."
"WHERE DOES HE LIVE?!" I repeated, loudly.
"P-parkplace." She responded.
"I'll be right back." I said, heading for the door.
"Joe! Joseph!" I slammed the door and made a run for my car. This guy had no idea what was coming for him.


(Demi's POV)

I ran out of the apartment, calling Selena on the way. "Sel, can you come pick me up?"
"What's wrong?" She asked.
"I'll explain on the way, just hurry!" Only a couple minutes later I was sitting in her car, explaining to her everything that had happened.
"What do you think he's going to do?" Selena asked as she flicked her blinker on.
"I don't know.." I replied. She parked the car and I ran out, up his driveway and to where I could see Joe beating the living shit out of Tony. "Stop it!" I yelled, but he kept going. His fist crashed into Tony's face repeatidly and I thought he had him down, but then Tony managed to pick himself and Joe up.
"What the fuck man?!" He yelled.
"You fuck with my best friend, you fuck with me!" Joe's face was steaming red, I'd never seen him this angry before. Just as he was about to tackle Tony, Joe was thrown onto the floor by Tony's fist.
"Tony!" I yelled, trying to break up the fight, but my attempts were quickly diminished. Tony slammed his foot repeatidily into Joe's ribs, "Stop it!" I yelled as loud as I could through my tears. Tony and Joe looked at me for a split second, finally acknowleding me before continuing there fight.
"You have--" Joe got up and spit some blood out of his mouth, "--no clue how lucky you are to have her. You touch her again and I swear to God I will fucking kill you, slowly and painfully!" He brought his fist back and rammed it so hard into Tony's jaw that it caused him to fly to the floor, his body landing in a thud. "Joe!" I ran to Tony and kneeled beside him, "You broke his jaw, Joseph!" I shouted.
"What's going on here? Oh my God!" The girl Tony had been with earlier came out of his bedroom with just Tony's button up shirt on and underwear. He kept sleeping with her after I caught him? I stood up from where I was sitting on the floor and backed away slowly until my back met Joe's chest. He turned me around and held me close to his body as I cried into his chest.
"Let's go." He said as he opened the door.

(10 minutes later)

Joe carried me up into the apartment and layed me on the couch before getting up to make me some nice warm tea. He sat down and put my feet on his lap, he handed me the cup and pulled a blanket over me. "What he did is not your fault, you know that right?"
"I guess." I replied. "But If I just would have had sex with him it wouldn't have happened, and you wouldn't have a black eye right now."
He adjusted the ice pack he was holding on his eye, "Don't. None of this was your fault. He's a fucking bastard."
"Thanks for sticking up for me, Joey. Even though I've been so distant lately. I just got caught up in Tony and his charm and everything." I sat up and put the mug on the counter.
He put a lock of my dark hair behind my ear. "Don't you know I'd do anything for you, D?" I smiled at him before kissing his cheek lightly and laying back down on the couch, hoping for this terrible day to end so I could start over tomorrow.
