@Guiiiac Yes they are. But if you keep on top of it you'll be fine. They are awesome dogs. You can find them with not so many folds sometimes. Still gorgeous but a little easier to care for.

@Freyasuse Are they really prone to skin issues? I owned an Engish mastiff in the past and thought this breed looked interesting.

I would never buy a mastino with so much loose skin: allergies + infections in the folds. The mastino is not a great walker anyway. Can you see the injuries at the ellbows - from hard floor, no matresses, no physical care. This is not a dog for a kennel, too sensitive + very expensive in maintenance!
