Mylasa how do you know it? in kazakhstan we speak both languages, russian people do know kazakh and kazakh people do know russian, if you have a name its not russian name it can be kazakh, the name can be: aigul,gulzhamal,aigerim,nurzha­n,alfira,alfia, didar,almira,dinara,zhanar,bol­at,zhanbolat........ there are 100000000 kazakh names not only russian names in kazakhstan

most of kazaks were russificated. they speak russian not kazakh. =/ ,street names are russians,alphabets and surnames too =/ =/ =/ .....

@TurkicPrincess1 Kazakhistan Özbekhistan etc are Turk and their language are Turkic language. all ours root are from göktürks, uygur, hun etc... but unfortunately. they were invaded by Russians. so thats why they are using Cyril alfabeth. if you read özbek language, it sounds totaly turkish. but written with Cyril alfabeth

LOL, you dumb asshole.. Turkic is the term used for the Turkic language family. The Kazakh language is in the TurkIC language family - just like the TurkiSH language - so that makes Kazakh a TURKIC language. Go read some books.
