@SSBSfanboy Actually Raiden stays out of the whole thing due to the "powers that be" unless he relinquishes his title as Elder God. Or something among that line.

@Donnyl1994 That's not what he meant. It doesn't matter if a character dies in MK because they'll always end up coming back to life if the developers plan on using that character in the current game's roster.
Just take a look at how many times Scorpion has died and still managed to climb back out of the Netherrealm in the MK Mythos. Plus Liu Kang came back as a chain wielding zombie in Deception.
