I'm no expert but sems to me that if the horse is trying to do what yo want, and you constantly jab him with the spurs, he's gonna relate the jabs with his tying, and he's not gonna learn anything...maybe the rider needs some lessons..course, if I was the horse, I'd have just thrown the rider off!!

This horse has more try than I have ever seen. Where is the release and the reward ? your legs and hands never stopped, did not even soften when he gave you what you asked of him.

I don't see any torture in this video, but certainly a lot of NAGGING in the saddle. Groundwork would fix a lot of that! :o)

This horse was trained originally with draw reins and a twisted wire bit. He ws also allowed to stop and look at what ever he wanted along with very unlevel uneven feet. Really a nice horse but the original start has so much to do with it.
