In 1943 December, 28 by order of Stalin all Kalmyk people (number 1 in the list of USSR heroes however) were forcibly displaced to Siberia as "USSR traidors" among with lithuanians, estonians, latvians, volga germans, krimean tatars, chechens, political crimials and other "unnecessary" people of USSR...

in the winter time, with no food, no winter clothes, in the train for animals straight to the cold Hell...

it was horrible...

@FalconfromRF, you need to read a few books and memoirs about what happen to the ethnic Germans in Russia before you speak on "real genocide". While I am not downgrading the Holocaust, a less observed genocide started by Stalin in the early 30's with his man-made famines. It continued to the expulsion of all sorts of different ethnic groups to Siberia in the 40's. Am so lucky my gfather left Russia in 1907 and getting his mother and others out in 1912. My ancestral village is Kransnoyar, Volga.

Yes. The fuckers sure did not discriminate. They sent most of the non-russian minorities to the camps.

The ones they did not sent they executed.

This should be as big of shame to Russia as Holocaust is to Germany. Considering that they do consider Lenin to be their national hero. Mr.Lenin was a kalmyk thus explaining the slanted eyes and asiatic looks.
