@Kitsuneranger Maurice LaMarche has been performing Gadget for quite some time. He actually did a few ADR lines for Gadget as early as the second season of the original series, as well as performing him in live action on and episode of Super Mario Super Show.. he was officially recast as Gadget before Don passed in IG's last Case and Gadget and the Gadgetinis.

@mightyfilm all for the better it seems
with Don Adams dead, how could they do a New Gadget series?

Hay Lupin any idea where i could get the script for this. Where did you get it

Oh God, am I glad this never aired!!! this is really horrible, I mean, Lupin III is just something you should NOT try to squeeze more characters out of. And the whole "Jigen the whatever" and "Fujiko the whatever" is just begging for copyrights to destroy it. With no creativity in the characters it probably wouldn't last long, although it might make a good special or short. I definitely wouldn't mind a special with this, but a series is asking for too much, don't you think?

I love it^^
Please more from that ^^

@BTCRAIL101FILMS the number does not refer to the series, the character of Lupin the third is the grandson of a french novel character named Lupin; like in the same way you have king henry the 8th, its junior junior basically.
so when they title this, they mean to say this is the great great great great great great great grandson of the original character from the 1900s. It was his grandson for the modern Lupin, so to take him into the future they went further with the familly tree.
what's this??? from japan

@LupintheWolf Actually, This is aimed to be for American audiences if the Tootsie Pop, Laser Sword and Laser Pistol is any indication
This is what's left of a scrapped production due to DiC can't secure the rights to the Lupin name at that time

@Kitsuneranger I'm assuming you're responding to my reply that this is from Japan. And this was animated in Japan. DiC had some input on the character designs, which were originally proposed by Monkey Punch. It's a DiC/TMS coproduction. The changes were more likely for a Western audience in general, not necessarily an exclusively American one, although DiC did release their shows in the States. "Lupin III" episodes were often edited, even on European TV. They probably wanted to avoid that here.

@BTCRAIL101FILMS Sorry for the belated reply. We really don't know what happened with the later generations of the Lupin gang. It's possible they'd never have brought it up even if the show WERE released and successful, because they hardly talk about what happened between Lupin I and Lupin III as it is.
