Exhibition grappling match at the DUKE CITY MMA Series 2 Cagefighting promoted by Jacksons MMA. Dawson represented Gracie Barra NM and Real represented NM Elite Wrestling. Real won the match by takedown 2-0.

I assume Dawson was the kid with the long hair? How did he lose that match? Golly his legs were lethal! He had that other boy clamped in the choke with his legs just about the entire match. The kid would occasionally slip out of it ONLY to find himself back in it moments later. The ref's fatass was in the way a good portion of the match so did something happen to enable the other boy to win? I'm sure he had head and neck aches the rest of that week!

dawson won that one. what kind of rules were they using?

Yeah, was a bummer, but he had his chances. He lost on points from the 1st takedown attempt when he let go of the guilliotine. Might have been different if it was a 4 minute match instead of 3 minutes. Nevertheless, I tell Dawson to stop playing around and do the Frank Mir style of grappling...submit quick.

dam i know its just kids but that is !@#$ UP!!! Dawson won that fight dang already they start getting robbed at such a young age way to Dawson keep up the good work!!!

Excuse my ignorance but I didn't see a take-down. The way I saw it, Dawson was on the offensive the whole time and Real was on the defensive. Real had no submission attempts while Dawson was the aggressor from the bottom the entire time. Just my $0.02. IMO, Dawson was the dominator. Good Job!

D - nothing to be ashamed of - you pressed and pressed - did well. The more you train - those techniques will get tighter and tighter. Keep your head up and work the armless triangle - a lot tighter and you could have had it several times.
