  • i am also a descendant of John Pass. Our familys original name is Pascal and we came from Malta

  • I was looking up on ancestry and fount out that I am a descendant of John Pass, seeing the bell is really cool. mi6QBranch is correct. the first bell came from England by the time it got to it's destination it was cracked. Our ancestors did the recasting of the bell witch is why our names are on it. they used the melted medal from the original bell to make the one we see in the video. after several years the bell cracked again. the last time it rang was celebrating George W. birthday. nice vid

  • Actually the Bell you see here was made from melted materials from the original Whitechapel Bell which also cracked making the need for replacement Bell by John Pass and John Stow which cracked on them as well and this second attempt by Pass and Stow is the result you see here.
