My advice to all the people who are considering the level of Math they wanna take: Start with Math HL even if you want to go SL, its much more challenging and you will struggle, prolly a lot. When you are finishing up all the material (before mocks/revision) switch down. You will guarantee yourself a 6 at least as math HL is so much more difficult than SL. Quoting one of the previous comments "SL is a joke"

SL is quite an easy program in my opinion, I'm 3 weeks into HL math and am stuggling. My advice is run away, run far away.

OMG i want to study an engineering but I don't want to choose a HL Math.. I'm choosing a HL Physics... I think is better, it prepares you to understand a lot of concepts.

@AbsolutCamilos You should really talk to the Maths teachers about your options. It is important that your HL decisions are based on your abilities and not on a fear of work. You might do better at HL maths than you think. ASK YOUR MATHS TEACHER
