The Association for Civil Rights in Israel (ACRI) was selected to be one of the five recipients of the 2011 Gruber Justice Prize. The prize was presented on October 6, 2011, in a ceremony at the National Constitution Center in Philadelphia. Following the ceremony, former Chief Justice of South Africa Arthur Chaskalson moderated a panel discussion titled "Justice Under Law; Practical Challenges".
