@JillBattleSlut I agree, it's much easier and faster to just force the magnet off, but the way i did it it looks better :-))
There is a good feason for using weights: The resonant-frequency of the PR defines a zero crossing in sound pressure level, that is why the PR should be tuned at least one octave lower than the pushing Driver.

@Andyatallah No, the frequency must be low. Bass has only very low notes.

ok so if i want to take the most advantage of my passive radiators the frequency should be high?
i mean to make them giving me the most bass they could.

if i would make a passive radiator i would do it with a blown speaker

@DJmonsty Yes, a blown one is the right choice for this. Thats exactly what i did, i would never sacrifice a working speaker :-)
