  • @Krauser1226 especially benefits Ipod, Iphones and Ipads from the EU with that god forsaken volume cap.

  • really nice reveiw you can get these amps really cheap now

  • Good job on your review mate, very informative. This helps me considerably as I am considering a purchase of the little amp. Thanks very much. Cheers

  • @utubmania2009 ok but i spend 200£ on my ipod and i got one with EU volume block..its mean that i can hear music in train...from others cos mine is to quiet...i even send it back to apple but they say its ok...hope that will help

  • @Krauser1226

Yes, if the headphone is expensive high-end Headphone. Most cheap headphones $100 range or under are not built for such high amp output and will destroy after a certain long period of usage. Many kids blamed it to iPod but actually they blew their headphone didn't even knew it.

  • Excellent review, just what I wanted to see, many thanks

  • @utubmania2009 This is true but the FiiO also benefits iPod owners who want higher volumes or better clarity from high ohm (impedance) headphones such as AKGs, Sennheisers, Grados, etc.

  • thank you!!!

  • i'll let you know next week when my fiio amp arrives

  • This device is excellent add on for those who use cheap imitation MP3 players. But those who got iPod/ipod touch or iPhone, and other good quality MP3 players, is a waste of money due to the fact the build in amp is good enough for the headphone where the headphone only could handle certain of power.

Too much, you would damage and make your headphone sound crappy after awhile.
