  • i totally want a turbodiesel 300d for my first car.

do u have to head up the veg oil before you run the car because it's thicker than diesel?

  • is this a 300 d turbo or non turbo? cuz it would be pretty fast for a non turbo

  • What exhaust do you have on that?

  • I envy your more of transportation. I truly do. One of my goals is to own a veggie W123

  • @coolakiIlen007

    vegetable oil.

  • Amazing!

  • I wanted better mpg so I started with a beaten to hell parts car for $125 with only 23/24mpg and 175/75r14

I put on 215/70r14 on the rear and my mpg increased to 29.7mpg.

The pumping losses of a diesel engine mean that gearing makes a huge difference to efficiency. Unfortunately that of course now means my 0-60 time is now 16 seconds! But I'm not drag racing for a living. And it has so much torque I can still pull a trailer full of a tankful of oil out of a yard on idle!

  • haha hell yeah like double the speed limit in the 40mph zone earlier.. i like! lol

  • We have been burning 100% virgin vegetable oil in unmodified 617's since the late 1970's. It works without modification above 60°F. Below that temperature, you would need a tank heater.

  • @MercedesBenzGKlasse You need to buy a diesel Cadillac instead. It will be better for you.

  • How do you convert this to run on Veggie?

How much does it cost to convert? Where can you buy Veggie oil?
