I haven't touched my guitar in a long time, so this March Break, I decided I should learn something. There's an indie group called "The Boy Least Likely To" and I wanted to play a song by them called "Every Goliath Has Its David" or "A Balloon On A Broken String." But I couldn't find the tab for any of those songs, and I'm not talented enough to play it by ear. So I hunted down another song by them, and I found this one, and I loved it b/c it was about growing up... I don't ever want to grow up... LOL. It was a cool reference to the Calvin and Hobbes comics... and I thought, I'll try this song.
Now I've never had guitar lessons before, although I we learnt how to play these things all the way back in Grade 5 and 6. Since then I've once in a while learnt simple popular guitar riffs and just songs with bar chords or power chords. But I've never been able to play a song with all all these different chords. So this is the first time i'm playing a song with all these chords in it. I guess their simple chords, but it's difficult for me, learning new chords and how to switch between them and stuff... I've never been successful with it, but I think this is by best attempt yet so yeah...
...i just wrote ... like an essay... hey the loading bar is blue... wat colour was it before?
i don't think it was always blue... hmmmm... interesting
o yea, i forgot, there's small little jumps in the video b/c i edited out my mistakes... mmhmm
