Pussylanious it's gotta be more than 23 ft think of average height is 5'11 then look at how many of his height it takes to hit the water.
-
Now show us the worlds greatest belly flop
-
It's high and it's crazy but it's not 110 ft. Nice jump though, steezy!
-
no way that's any more than 23 feet.

The video farted
-
I think then would be a reasonable time to uh.. SHIT MA PANTS!

@Mintyboy4 Your data is all assuming that his initial vertical velocity is zero, and the video shows that he may have started the jump by pushing out and a little bit down as well. This would make the height higher than 85 feet by a distance depending on his starting velocity.
It's possible because he jumps off of a declined ledge. That may have resulted in a starting velocity not being 0, and your calculations underestimating the real height.
Ok serious question, I take it the jumper wore shoes to help soften the impact and protect his feet?
And that jump is stupid high. I'd probably pass out on the way down.

@Ttran778 Correct sir, Shoes soften impact cause water actually hurts alot at some heights!

@finalski How high would you say you can safely jump without shoes? I've never been cliff diving before so I have no clue.

@Ttran778 It's all about preference, if you land with your toes pointed you won't get much impact on your feet regardless of height. That being said I wear shoes on anything 30ft or higher. Just cause it dosent hurt to throw on your jumping shoes.
