A grid cloner of tall "cube" objects are attracted to the surface of a blob- just a first, rough test for making bilayers via MoDynamics.

  • This animation is prety simple compared to the others I've tested. Each "lipid" is a cube and there is a low polygon icosohedral sphere with a noise deformer. It plays in the viewport at about 1/2 to 1/4 realtime speed. It took probably 3 minutes to render because I used ambient occlusion. Its 30 fps, therefor 100seconds puts it at 3000 frames worth of simulation. This ran on a Mac 2x 3GHz Dual-Core intel Xeon with 4G of RAM. Cheers
