how ever it was, i am giving a presentation at my collage on the wave physics of stringed instruments and this was what i needed.. thanks.. i wanted to show that the strings dont vibrate on a single frequency but by a rather complex way..

I applied a similar rolling shutter effect to record my baritone 12-string guitar where you can see the strings wobble in real time. It's on youtube if you search for "magic guitar strings" - or click my name to find the video.

@WMackbd if you have any experience in physics labs you'll know what high-speed cameras do. look up "high-speed camera" on wikipedia or something. it's used a lot to get detailed view of high-speed motions. have u ever seen slow-mo video of auto crash tests for example? they film those using high-speed cameras.

@t0mmyb0y1983 i think it's from the 60's

What year is this from?

You didn't film it in "high speed", you filmed it in "actual speed" with a high frame rate, then slowed it down. I actually came to this video thinking you were going to be playing some sweep picking or something. pretty lame.

this is on bass status. lol so low tuned.

Yeah, that's why I call this a fake...
