Na Galiza é un instrumento ben coñecido chamado zafona.

Segundo a wikipédia o nome é português é sanfona ou viola de roda.

It's the last week before Lent when people eat a lot and make pancakes. Making pancakes during that period dates back to pagan times of course (kind of a sun symbol or something). In Western terms it's roughly like the mardi gras festival or Shrovetide. Approximately.
