Blitzkrieg 2 (Mod) - The Sound of War

Possibly the oldest self-made music video I still have on my HDD. It shows scenes recorded while playing the C&C Generals Zero Hour mod "Blitzkrieg II" in a version from 2005. It has improved MUCH since then, so downloading and playing the mod is highly recommended.

No.

Mainly because there is no AI (yet). Online play is not an option for me for several reasons (unstable connection, etc.), so no, sorry. Maybe when R3 is released.

BTW CWC is For C & C ZH and may be coming out in Feb 08. That is the rumoured release date.

codename panzer better graphics good connection good tanks good vehicles almost has all kinds of soldiers, tanks and stuff so well everything is great exept that if u want to download it free its hard to find but if u buy it its very cheap like 9$ im getting phase 1 for Chirstmas yay!!

C&C Gold is just the classic version os C&C but for Win 95/98, with better graphics of course.

Another good RTS for me was the "Total Anihilation" from cavedog (with air, water and terrain units). I recomend this one!

Other now classics for me:

Earth 2140, Earth 2150, Warcraft, Warcraft II , Dune II, Starcraft and KKND.

Sure today there will always be better grafical RTS, but the essence didn't change. All they were based on DUNE II.

KO=Knock Out... its nothing.

(CnC gold? I'll have to look that up.)

But yeah I got you, though CnC's basic goal with these games was to build a balanced game that was made to be epic.

And I get where you come from, because now its turning into a world where the games look better, but are too short.

What is KO?

It really doesn't matter if the game is 2D or 3D, if it is worth to play. Bliztkrieg is a really RTS game, its very challenging. I enjoy when the camera is static just whatching from the perspective.

C&C Gold and C&C: Red Alert series also rocks because it was one of the first RTS in that time. I think today the games are to plastic, just have beatiful images, new camera positions but that does not garantee that they are better. That is my opinion of course.
