@franklin3321 In the Shito-ryu style, there is no yoi starting move. We go straight into the left shuto block. That's the way we do it. She also performs the rest of it in a slightly different manner as my system of Shito-ryu, but that doesn't make it any less valid.

Usually do not comment if nothing nice to say, but this is One of my favorite Kata, and still with much respect I question the quality of competition and judging if she placed 2nd. I Noticed No meaningful Yoi opening; "skip" at :44; at :58 never seen a "punch" but nakadakaken tsuki (leopard); 1:28 di not perfor an arm bar and brake, repeated at 1:36; at 1:45 no push of opp. in rear; 1:46 no X block. Hence my question: Wha was so good for 2nd, or was competition that much worse, or bad judging.
