Vintage footage of a transgender woman complaining how hard it is to keep a job.

Part of the 2005 documentary film "Screaming Queens: The Riot at Compton's Cafeteria," directed by Victor Silverman & Susan Stryker, about a San Francisco transgender uprising that predated the New York transgender uprising at the Stonewall Inn.

  • The footage is originally from a short movie called "Gay San Francisco." It was more recently used in a 2005 movie, Screaming Queens, about a riot at Compton's Cafeteria in San Francisco in 1966.
