  • We are here to learn a function in Protools, not to debate is you like protools or not, go buy a tape machine and record then, OH NO that´s technology too... electric guitar? techno cheating too? give me a break... all of your favorite albums? throw them away then...

  • awesome!!! and fast to learn, if its to fast for you guess what? you can pause and play again... i hate videos where the dude speaks and speaks... just show me how to do it! You have to have your protools open and do the exercise. Its a great video thanks mate! And for all the haters grow up, if you dont want to use this just DONT USE IT! you really think that Foo Fighters Wating light album, really is free of ANY EDITING? as dave grohl claims... yeah right... go fool someone else...

  • for a video about alignment the lip sinc is slightly of. (it doesn't matter of course on youtube)

one thing i wondered about is the point of phase aligning if your DAW is only milliseconds.(i don't use protools, have a hardware DAW but may export to it). e.g. a 1khz signal has one cycle for every adjustment you make so how can you match anything there? still a 100hz only has 10 points so it can't be that accuracte..... have i missed something??

  • wow..that's nice thing..

  • wow i really need to get my protools running. this is amazing.

  • baby

  • Where can you purchase a version of Pro Tools 7.4 HD anymore? I have a G5, and want to install it with a PCI-X core card, yet can't seem to find it anywhere!!

  • @jimmah01 no, it was a condenser. lol you obviously don't know that much about mics. ;) it would make no sense to waste hours trying to overdub that.

  • I've got to say, I love this tutorial. It's done really well and easy to follow.

Not to mention, 'Like sneakers in a dyer' is the best saying I've heard in a while.
