Saw an old interview with Bad News Brown on you tube where he disputes Bret's claim of never seriously hurting his opponents. I believe Brown says Bret gave him concussions back in the day and in one match where Brown had recently had a concussion he had asked Bret to not whack him in the back of the head with a bamboo stick or a chair, instead he asked Bret do it across his shoulder blades but Brown claims Bret went ahead and nailed him in the head anyways.
