we have that latch for our cupboards and they work great but we have the handles that you stick your hand into (if that makes sense)

My boyfriend's niece was a destructive force on child proof anything. By nine months she could unscrew child proof lids on medicines, which was completely terrifying- it's amazing what those little hands are capable of. I'm starting to think that padlocks are the only answer to keeping kids out of stuff.

Buy the magnetic locks!!! They are the only ones that work, and are completely hidden inside. Good Luck!
