Nice Streamroller ! How old is it ? And What Year?

Live Steam magazine has printed several magazines describing how to manufacture steam rollers through locomotives. It is a matter of scaling up the project to get the size you want.

Do you know any places that sell design plans for these so I can build my own, all I've found are live steam models not the full size.

Thank you for yopur comment Brimstone52! You may be interested to learn that following a child who got his head stuck n the chimney playing (!!yes its true!), the roller was buried for many years in the playground untill a group decided to restore her and ownership passed on to the Black family in North Wales. The engine is visiting Barmouth next weekend along with another roller, both under their own power!

Thanks for your comment Critognatus, officially they were 10 ton rollers and had a brass plaque to state this, this could have been a legal weight limit but I understand that with a full load of water and coal they weigh in at 12 tons, imperial tons that is!
