  • Is there a chinese flute (笛)?

  • True, actually we used two type of Chinese bamboo flute, both "qudi(曲笛)" and "bangdi(梆笛)".

fyi: no piccolo used in this concert.

  • 杨汶沈,maybe this band is good...

  • Boon Sheng, maybe this video is useful...

  • hmm... the higher notes could have sweetened the sound by going into a higher position....

  • i can get a copy for you for free. send me a private message over youtube with your e-mail and i'llsend you a scan. (my band plays this and i have access to all parts)

  • anybody if possible can send me a copy of the flute part for this piece? i'd appreciate it.

  • Excellent! :)

  • Wow thats really good :) x

  • Have you noticed that clapping always sounds like eggs frying? BTW, it was pretty, good (i know, I play th horn part here) but I must agree, they were quite a bit sharp.

  • And i just realized parts of this sound like bagpipes

  • The problem with the violin is that with it there is a fine line between beautiful and rupturing the eardrum
