Actually just been rethinking it. Possible that Greaney was trying to stir up controversy by taking the piss & thus exposing the band to more attention in the media? (something similarish to Nirvana playing the intro to ''rape me'' at MTV awards)

Either that or he just didn't give a fuck knowing that very few of the target audience (15-25) would be watching Late Late show & so just took the piss

Whilst this is clearly a poor performance (despite music fans would recognise the talent & power in his voice) their live videos in the sidelinks are pretty damn good live.

Shite videos, meh very few bands make good videos that help to seriously increase their sales.

Obviously it was a poor move taking the piss on tv even if the target audience would have been 30+, still though funny to see him not give a shit & still tear down the place, you can see at the start he's serious
