Myanmar Catholic Youth of Singapore Retreat 2009

Theme: SAVED IN HOPE

Background: This retreat is based on the 2007 Encyclical Letter of Pope Benedict XVI entitled SPE SALVI (Saved In Hope). Hope is an important element of Christian living. At times in our lives we are faced with difficulties and it may seem impossible to live life. Christian Hope gives us the beacon (shining light) to face and overcome these difficult times. If we be a people without hope, there seem to be no future and no life for us anymore. This retreat will lead us to reflect on our present life and to learn what Christian hope teaches us; how to live our life to the full, knowing fully well that God is with us always in all our pain and sorrows. The Holy Father in this encyclical letter wrote: The one who has hope live differently; the one who hopes has been granted the gift of a new life.


စကၤာပူႏိုင္ငံေရာက္ ျမန္မာကက္သလစ္ လူငယ္မ်ား၏ တေန႕တာ ၀တ္ေစာင့္ျခင္းကို "ေမွ်ာ္လင့္ျခင္းအားျဖင့္ ကယ္တင္ျခင္း" ဟူေသာ ေခါင္း စဥ္ျဖင့္ ၃၀ ရက္ ၾသဂုတ္လ ၂၀၀၉ တြင္ Ang Mo Kio Street 13 ရွိ Myanmar Mission Center တြင္ နံနက္ (၁၀)နာရီမွ ညေန (၆)နာရီထိ က်င္းပျပဳလုပ္ခဲ႔ပါသည္။ ၀တ္ေစာင့္ပြဲသို႕ စကၤာပူေရာက္ ျမန္မာကက္သလစ္လူႀကီး၊ လူငယ္စုစုေပါင္း (၈၀)ဦးခန္႕ တတ္ေရာက္ခဲ့ၾကပါသည္။
