I actually saw a stock car on the road once. It was Darrell Waltrip back in the 1980's when he was driving the Superflo Monte Carlo Aerocoupe in a Busch Grand National Race at the Charlotte Motor Speedway. DW developed an issue with the car, pulled down pit road, pulled it behind the wall, kept going through the tunnel and came out on HWY 29 and drove the thing down the road where I presume his Sat. car trailer was. Must have been a sight for the other cars on the road!
