Actually the Church singlehandedly fostered the sciences in her monasteries and Universities. And set modern science in motion. Darwin has a mere theory of biological HISTORY....it is not an exact science...nor is it central to future scientific developement. The Church also provided the only sources of education.....no one else could be bothered. Too selfish. Without the Church.....the West is already in Islam's pocket. It's just a matter of time.
