Man I love this song. I love Brian's playful, stream-of-consciousness lyrics. I wish he would have written lyrics for more Beach Boys songs.
Oh, and as far as surprising endings to Beach Boys songs go, I think the female orgasm noises at the end of "All I Want To Do" has this one beat by a hair.

@wbdoak It's shocking because it's on a Beach Boys album, the same group who had released "God Only Knows" just a year earlier. It's as if Mickey Mouse were suddenly to start talking about doing Minnie.

I love this song! The Beach Boys are awesome! I also like the way Ken Koenig covered it very very good! Check it out, just search: Ken Koenig- I'd Love Just Once To See You... I think if you like this song you will like his cover of it and probably some of his other songs too :)
