Tecopa Trip Part II

In this segment we take another look at base camp with all our luxuries. We also get a look at Bob and Cindy's new 1967 FIreball Travel Trailer. Next we head out to the Bob and Ward Cabin for some exploring and 4 wheeling.

I must say I like the way you camp. satellite dish antenna and all pretty nice.

The satelite dish was a first for me. I've never even had cable TV much less satelite. But ya it was kinda neat for being in a pay resort type RV park. Don't know that I would bring it on a real camping trip though.

LOL Yes it was rough... We also had electric heaters. Even the tent had electric heat.

Damn fine to see the cabin is still in good shape. I hope it is not being "donated" to the government like the other one is.

I don't think that will happen as it has a watch group that seems to be taking good care of the place and a sign saying that it will be kept open. I would love to spend a day and night there but will try it in the beginning of the week for some possible privacy.

I must be deprived. Though I have satellite tv here at home, never once has it crossed my mind to drag it along on a camping trip. Whatever happened to leaky tents, and rocks under your sleeping bags, and bugs and snakes and being miserable? I mean... Where's the fun? LOL

The cabin and grounds look pretty much the same as when Desertphile and I last visited it.
