lol until today I had no idea Gmail scanned my mail and then put ads up. I've been using Adblocker all these years, I guess it works very, very well haha (for youtube too). I'll switch as soon as I find a better alternative, but for now Gmail is decent, I admit heartedly.

Gmail may be free, but it's proven that they actively scan your emails. Who knows what they do with that information in addition to the ads?

love this song! :D

So what?.. Every Google+ notification in my GMail is accompanied with ad about diamond grinding wheels, cutting discs, abrasive discs and other such power tools... You know, because in Russian all of them are called "circles" :D

Everyone loves THE GMAIL-MAN!

But Googles solution is FREE! I tried out GMX, well, 15 Spam-mails in one day!
I dont care about the little ads on the top.

This is pathetic. If they continue this path, Microsoft will stop being relevant within a decade.

@Marksdroid Don't u care about privacy , u douche ?

@zihank The only difference is the execution of the same idea; eye-poking you the links to the things that have the most chance of you clicking on them. Yes, Google saves keywords and associates them with my account, but ads are always shown outside my working/reading space, and stays largely irrelevant to what I'm doing. Microsoft underlines half of my conversations, assigns ugly popups to them, desperately hoping that I'd contribute to their alternative profit. It's the same, if not worse.
Google gives you everything.
FREE.
who cares about ads on the side.

Yeah Microsoft, because what Google does is a lot worse than assigning Bing links to the keywords in our WINDOWS LIVE CONVERSATIONS.
Hypocrites.
