My dad driving his newly self-restored 1965 fastback 289 true k-code hipo mustang (matching numbers car) This car is a head turner! Definitely not your granddaddy's grocery getter! 289 HiPo 4 speed, 3:89, 2 1/2 in Flowmaster Exhaust, 17'' Coys Wheels. First Car Ordered to be built in 1965 for the San Jose Ford Factory which also makes it the first Fastback and K-Code to be built for '65 from S.J. (VIN #001) Please Rate, Comment, and Enjoy!!   • is that a stock motor ?

  • @talpajam .....it's pretty much stock. The only changes I made were forged pistons instead of the cast pistons and I used stainless valves.

  • That hood is hideous on that sweet car. It's like a zit on hot chicks nose!!! Lose it!!!

  • @Auck40 Zits and Hoods are alot alike. Zits go away and hoods can be removed. Since I recently sold this car, the new owner can worry about buying some proactive for his zits..LOL...Thanks for the comment!!

  • i cant find anything k code let alone fastback here in california. (under 12 grand that is) and anything i do find is ready to break in half! haha im verrryyyy jealousxD

    I knew about it for sometime now, almost 8 years but the guy wouldnt get off it. It was in an old warehouse for over 30 years in a small town in SC..And thank you
