Actually the teabaggers aren't being selfish, because they're campaigning against their best interests. They are simply brainwashed and deluded.
Most of the teabaggers you see in that clip are living on welfare and medicaid.

If teabaggers want small government then I am sure they will campaign for allowing gay marriage and abortions. Unless, of course, they are in favour of the government interfering in such matters. Banning gay marriage and abortion is big government, pure and simple.
And how's about that ridiculous military budget, bigger than the rest of the world combined, much of it going to corporate whores and mercenary scum. Invading and interfering in foreign nations is the ultimate Big Government.
