Crist says "..its hard to get it right every time..." How about getting it right just once!
DCF spokes person says "...no deadline for case workers to talk to parents accused of abuse...". Arrogance.
Until all these "services" are overhauled ...we will continue to hear stories like this over and over. I suggest the make a board of parents to oversee DCF and make Wiliam Dunn part of the first board. With ability to hire and fire!

Seems to me the only winners over the four years were DCF, the Layers, and the Courts.
Dunn and the little girl paid the biggest price. The tax payer paid the rest!

The sytem is corrupt. "predatory professionals" can not let the truth be exposed. Thousands of children are abducted by child protection services and adopted out with perjury and false affidavits.
