hmm, I truly don't mean to burst or bubble or rain on your parade, but instrument playing has seen a large decrease partly because all students want to do is party and listen to techno, and because of the economy, the music program is being cut for many schools :( At least in America. But either way, keep going.

If you look in the right places, you can find a lot of classical music lovers - and among classical music lovers, early music and early instrument playing is getting increasingly popular.

go to yahoo groups. You can almost guarentee you will find a group there that composes for lute. I don't play lute, but i think its pretty sad how classical music has died. Hey, since you're young, its probably not too late for you to popularize classical and baroque music again.
