Aladdin - Friend Like Me (Icelandic with subs)

With subs! ^^ Subs are cool... such a fun song. And a whole lot of ppl will think that a better translation for the repeated title is "a better friend". But it didn't sound right. So I went with finer. Which might be kinda odd but deal with it.

When it says,

"Ég skal upplýsa þig betur!"

(ALERT, I DON'T SPEAK ICELANDIC)

it sound like it should be "bétur"

Can someone clarify?

@Anonie324 I'm sorry but it doesn't sound like that at all :) bétur would be more like beh-yeah-tur, but he's clearly saying betur which is more like just beh-tur. Besides, bétur isn't a word. And even if it was it didn't sound like it at all in this song :) Hope I clarified!

@caius112 The Japanese dub was actually made after the icelandic one, since they thought it was better then the original ^^

I can't speak a word of Icelandic but in my opinion they are easily the best Disney dubs, sometimes even better than the original.

@caius112 Oh yes, the disney subs might be better but if you're going to see a movie at the theatres in Icelandic you might as well see the english version because the Icelandic version is horrible.

@TheMrME1 Yes I understand that this is what they translated it into from English to Icelandic. Here let me give an example when Genie is juggling his head in the original english its "Can your friends do this? Can your friends do that?" where in the icelandic version its "Do you have a friend that is this nifty?" I understand that dubbing works to match the lips as best they can. I just wanted to explain cause I imagine you may have gotten a lot of english people going 'its not right!' ^^;;
