@dannyboi435 Which is very correct. I mean, people visit all the touristic hotspots in cities such as Dublin, Belfast, Prague, Paris, Brussels, ... but they forget only a few miles away in the suburbs there's misery, unemployment, alcoholism, criminality, ... This song makes so much sense once you've been wandering in those suburbian towns a few times. I was introduced to the Levellers by a former teacher of mine, maybe the best thing I ever learnt in school ;)

@PeckhamExile Yes, people from the same social background as who play bingo and do the pools. Because they see gambling as their only chance of getting ahead in life, and in all honesty it's often more likely than by any other means. They chose the lottery as an *example* of working-class gambling, one that fit the song better than other examples.

OK thanks hateful94, shame the audio is slightly out of sync with the video. The person who ripped it converted it to an AVI file, not always the best file type to use for video.
