  • I have heard many versions of this song (as it is one of my favourite world songs) and i am so happy to discover this singer, i didnt know about him...but he is simply WONDERFUL ! ... And the images that you (the uploader) used for the video are lovely as well, showing simple & normal people and life - those people who always keep the world spiritual & beautiful. Thank you for posting this.

  • @sarahicelands yes he is wonderful isn't he. ustad naseeruddin saami is such an unassuming person. he is gifted and has dedicated his life to his art.

  • Thanks a lot Arif Bhai. We Indians are proud of Pakistani Ustads. They help broaden our horizon. long Live India and Pakistan.

  • @rs4884 thank you. frienship between the two will certainly mean a brighter future.

  • What an amazingly moving rendition! What a voice! Ustadji deserves a much greater audience. Any likelihood of his visiting India?

  • you are right. though i am not sure if he has been invited to perform in india, i wish that mr. muzzafar ali would invite him for the annual khusrau festival. saami saheb would shine on that platform.

  • Ustad Saami performed in India last year. Many of the videos from his visit are available on Youtube. Raag Sohni, performed in India, is available.

  • Music sees no barriars and Indian sub continent has only one culture,,,there is no musical boundary between India AND Pakistan...we are one.....someday a good breed of politicians would certainly emerge across the the borders and there would be a one great nation once again....remember the period of Ashoka, the great.....we are spending our energy on small matters,,,we, if are united, we can rule the world,,,,,,but to alleviate the miseries of the poors , only.................

  • I had first and only time hear ustadji in a CD prepared called khayal darpan...a must see for all music lovers across the border

  • Arif Bhai mere paas alfaaz kum pad gaye hain...aapki kya taareef karun itni khubsurat bhent upload karne ke liye..........shukriya

  • i am back here. I feel like crying..... THANK YOU FOR THIS POST !!

  • True. This is one amazingly moving rendition. However, equally heart warming are the comments of love, peace and mutual respect on this page by music lovers of two neighbouring countries. I would request viewers to share this with friends and the younger generation to spread peace, love and harmony amongst us all. Too many tears shed, too much blood spilt, many lives lost....its now time to bury the hatchet and come together. Live and let live! Thank you Arifbhai!
