  • When I heard Soldier of love on the radio for the first time, I was like, Wow, it's Donny. I knew his voice immediatley. I was like, It's about time Donny Osmond comes back to life..Does he really know how fabulous he really was to us and still is to this day? We loved you in the beginning and will love you to the end..Thank God for Peter Gabriel bring Donny back to life :)

  • I first heard Soldier of Love while I was at work. I recognized Donny immediately and didn't realize they were hiding the identity. There's something about his voice so familiar and endearing I think I will always know his voice. I called the station every day for a week to request the song and finally bought the cd. ;-)

  • Wow what a great interview! Thank you for sharing it!

  • Okay, funny story with SOLDIER OF LOVE. When that song came out as UNKNOWN artist - I was constantly calling radio station. I recognized his voice, and demanded the DJ tell who the artist was. He said he truly didn't know. After a week or two the DJ finally said, "YOU WOMEN WIN, WE'LL PLAY THIS SONG EVERY HOUR ON THE HOUR, QUIT CLOGGING UP OUR PHONE LINES". The next week they announced Donny. Yeah, I knew his voice even without a name.
