http://www.vernissage.tv | Berlin-based artist and musician Carsten Nicolai presents the U.S. debut of pionier I, a white silk parachute inflated with a wind machine, and raster gradient, a large-scale black-and-white gradient that optically expands and contracts the space of the gallery. The works travel to the gallery from the Contemporary Art Centre, Vilnius, Lithuania, where they were first exhibited in the spring of 2011.
