The Salmagundi Club is an art gallery in NYC. I like to think of this type of video as a collection of art rather than a hodgepodge of crap. Don't bother to tell me if you agree :-)

  • Ahhhhh....such a sweet butterfly! Poor thing! Gotta love the google for the tips and tricks...:-)

Thanks for singing for us all! It's just not fair that I'm the only one you ever sing for, so I'm happy to see you are sharing now...:-) xoxoxoxo

  • @GreatGig1 I added a little echoing to the song. Could you tell? ;-)

  • I wonder if torn butterfly wings can heal...

  • @fehquig I dare say, no. Believe it or not, there are butterfly rescue centers but not near me.

  • What if the sky falls on you?!? Yikes, you need to avoid that somehow - hide under a falling tree, that should do it!.

and sing your way to stardom!

  • @MrRandomWritings You don't really want me to sing my way to stardom, just to the stars so I'll be far enough away that you can't hear me.

  • That place looks the biz...think you got enough room for a 10x30 caravan there?!?!...lol...Poor flutterby...you should dry him out when he goes...I varnished one once...it was dead, of course...turned out beautiful;)

  • I'd much rather have your butterfly than Zipster's duck. Wayyyy, easier to take care of I'd say!

  • Aww, you are so kind, Marc, rescuing that poor flutterby. He looked right at home on your arm chair.

Actually where I'm working here in the Australian desert, there are trees known as 'widow makers' that in very dry weather, can just drop limbs in the blink of an eye, and rather large limbs too, hence their nickname.

    More echoey vocals please!

    :)

  • @Perroquet51 No Perr..I did not mean 'sucky' at all....I meant different from MOST of your vlogs...tho you did do one ages ago on flowers/dandelions/etc I remember...and it was interesting...maybe I was just being linguistically lazy...loved looking at the rescued butterfly...made me think of Jagger's words..way back in the late 60's...I am happy to live a short and exotic life...like the butterfly...! But I did not say that at the time..!

  • @Perroquet51 Their wings are almost powdery with scales so I wouldn't think tape would stick either! L

  • Cute how you put down your emergency rescue towel and the butterfly walked away from it. You just can't win, can ya'? Little bugger looked like quite a climber, after he discovered furniture.

(I might try to repair him with duct tape, but he'd probably fly lopsided and just go around in circles.)

BTW *ahem*, you have not yet critiqued my roast beast, and I even saved a slice for you.....

  • Beautiful back yard Marc. Poor little butterfly. You are the butterfly whisperer.... HuGz Sugar
